Dr. Gilberto Moreno is a Dermatologist and Mohs Specialist. He graduated from Rosario University (Colombia) in 2003 and achieved Australian Medical Council recognition in 2006 whilst conducting clinical Dermatology research through the University of New South Wales. He successfully completed Basic Physicians Training and examinations in 2011, and broadened his medical experience through the St Vincents Area Health Network. During his Dermatology training he spent a year in the UK focusing on the multi‑disciplinary management of skin cancer and connective tissue disorders. Other hospital attachments included Westmead Adults Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital, The Skin Hospital Westmead and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he completed Dermatology training.
Dr. Moreno holds a Senior Lecturer position at the Medical School of University of Sydney and is committed to the education of junior doctors and Dermatology research. His work has been presented at local and international meetings, as well as world congresses, and has also been published in peer reviewed medical journals for the past 12 years. He also belongs to the Royal North Shore Hospital Network as Staff Specialist and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as Visiting Medical Officer where he concentrates on the management of skin cancer at various levels.
