Dr Andrew Lee

PhD, FACD

Dr Andrew Lee is a specialist dermatologist working across general and surgical dermatology.

 

Having completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales, Dr Lee went on to receive his Masters of Medicine from the University of Sydney and his fellowship from the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Upon receiving his specialist qualification, he was also awarded the Galderma Travelling Fellowship Award for achieving first place in the specialist examinations nationally, the Founders’ Medal for Procedural Dermatology and the Ken Paver Medal for Medical Dermatology.

 

Dr Lee has an interest in research, having published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles, including in major international journals such as JAMA Dermatology, the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology. He has also presented at a number of international and national dermatology conferences, largely for his work with the dermatology department at Royal North Shore Hospital. His contributions to research have been recognised through a number of honours, including the Eileen Collins Memorial Prize, the Vanderfield Memorial Trust Travel Award, and the Scientific Staff Council International Travel Scholarship.

 

In addition to Royal North Shore, Dr Lee has worked at other major tertiary hospitals, including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and The Skin Hospital. He is also passionate about rural practice, with experience working in regional dermatology clinics, both in the North and South Coast of New South Wales.
